🛞 The Wheels Section
Located in the car parks, view an incredible lineup of diverse vehicles including unusual Supercars, Vintage & Classic cars, Rally & Racing cars, Military vehicles, Tractors, and a massive selection of new and classic motorbikes.
🛩️ The Wings Section
Enjoy a rare opportunity as the airfield apron is fenced off from the airport, granting the public full airside access to the hangar and apron area.
Featured aircraft include kit-built (Eurofox), home-built (Van’s RV-7), a variety of general aviation aircraft of varying ages (including the 60-year-old Beagle Pup prototype), a Bell 505X helicopter, and a corporate aircraft. Some aircraft will have pilot/owners with them to talk to and sit in the aircraft.
There will also be the Channel Island Air Search Islander with crews, and the popular JUNIOR JOEY. Guernsey Flying Training Ltd will be present with their Piper Warrior, flight instructors, and an interactive Flight Simulator to view.
🛠️ In the Hangar & Club Building
- The Guernsey Model Club: Presenting a variety of model aircraft, active taxiing demonstrations on the apron, a planned drone flying zone, and professional-class model aircraft painting masterclasses.
- Ground Floor Displays: Themed die-cast aircraft and intricate airport model displays inside the main club building.
- Runway Views: Head up to the first-floor club room and spacious balcony for panoramic, unobstructed views of live aircraft movements along the runway and taxiways.
🍔 Refreshments & Entertainment
- Lunchtime BBQ: Hot burgers in baps and BBQ sausages in rolls served in and around the club.
- First-Floor Café & Bar: All-day tea, coffee, a fully licensed bar, and a massive selection of our famous homemade cakes.
- Le Hechet Farm Ice Cream: Available straight from the car park throughout the entire day.
